Helping our sister church in Texas
A you know, areas of the country have been affected by terrible flooding. We have encouraged people to give to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, in support of the recovery effort. In addition, we have chosen to partner with New Hope Presbyterian Church in Katy, TX. Their building was significantly affected by the flood from Hurricane Harvey. After evaluating their situation, they have suggested a couple of very tangible ways we can be of help to them. They house a neighborhood food pantry in their church and are in desperate need of food items to restock this pantry. They suggest that the best way to restock at this point is through Walmart gift cards, which they will use to purchase the food items locally. They also lost the digital projector in their sanctuary, and they need to replace this for their worship services. So, please prayerfully consider either:
