​Critical Home Repair Help

Critical Home Repair Program Details:
Our Critical Home Repair Program aims to assist homeowners in Carroll County who need essential repairs but may not have the means to address them. To qualify for this program, homeowners must meet the following criteria:

1. Own their home in Carroll County.
2. Ensure that property taxes and homeowners’ insurance are up to date.
3. Have an annual household income that is under $94,650.

 
Types of Repairs Covered:

• Replacing tubs with walk-in-showers for enhanced accessibility.
• Installing grab bars in bathrooms to ensure safety.
• Replacing drafty windows to improve energy efficiency.
• Repairing collapsing retaining walls.
• Constructing new sidewalks from homes to driveways.
• Building ramps for wheelchair accessibility.
• Addressing roof and gutter repairs.
• Undertaking drywall repairs, painting, and door repair/replacement.
• Ensuring the replacement of dangerous decks.
